Tai Chi Park 2009

 

So summer 2009 is over now, and the demo season is finished, here are some of the events which took place in and around Bristol. Thanks to the demo team and to you for coming along and supporting the events. Hopefully we will run these again next year, roll on 2010.

FREE Tai Chi Events - Summer 2009

Sunday 31 May 2pm - Tyntesfield National Trust House near Bristol - more information coming soon, but basically we will have a great afternoon of Tai Chi and demonstrations in a very beautiful location.

The Bristol School of Tai Chi in association with Bristol City Council Parks Department have teamed up to offer a summer of free Tai Chi event. Running on various days of the week and at the weekends we will be offering lots of fun and sessions.

Saturday 23 May, 10am - Eastville park by the old Swimming pool.

Sunday 14 June, 10am - Victoria park by the tennis courts.

Bristol Festival

See the Bristol School of Tai Chi demonstration team FREE at Bristol Festival on Sunday 20th September 11am. In the workshop tent on Millennium Square, down by the docks. Bring a friend, see the demo and have FREE taster class.

 

Tai Chi Courses in the Park - £50

 

Starts Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 July

 

For those who would like something more serious and progressive.

 

We will be running a course of 8 weeks on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in Ashton Court by the Rose Gardens near the Mansion House. Start at 7 and running until 8:30pm. The cost will be £50 for either the Wednesday or the Thursday sessions, or £95 if you come to both evenings.

 

FREE 7th Annual Tai Chi Festival

The Bristol School of Tai Chi invites you to join us for an afternoon of free, fun, informative and relaxing practice in the park. You don't need to go to China to enjoy a Tai Chi practise session in the open air.

Bring friends and family and meet Brandon Hill, Old Bowling Green, Bristol at 2.30pm on the 28 of June. Come early and bring some food and drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

This year we will feature the new demonstration team 2009. A very exciting and engaging demonstration of Tai Chi forms including drumming and Tai Chi Sword forms. Lasts about 20 minutes, followed by a taster classes and group practise. A great afternoon

Whether you're an old hand or just interested in Tai Chi, don't miss this chance to join in some free classes and witness some demonstrations of various Tai Chi forms. (click here for more photos from last year)
