Victorian country mansion. Enjoy an impressive display from the Bristol School
of Tai Chi and have a go yourself!

Opening ceremony of the Chinese Herb Garden @
Bristol Botanical Gardens
Saturday 3 July 12 noon - This event is to
celebrate the completion of the Chinese Herbal Teaching Garden at the University
of Bristol Botanic Garden. Over 150 species of Chinese herbs will be displayed
in the outside beds and greenhouse.
The official opening will take place at 12 noon at the pavilion in the Chinese
Herb Garden. This will be followed by demonstrations of tai chi by the Bristol
School of Tai Chi at 2pm and a traditional lion dance through the gardens by the
University of Bristol Lion Dance Troupe.
Tours of the Chinese Herb Garden and greenhouses will follow.
The event is open to everyone and we hope you can come and enjoy the event and
meet up with friends. There is no need to book.

The Bristol School of Tai Chi in association with Bristol City Council Parks Department have teamed up to offer a summer of free Tai Chi event. Running on various days of the week and at the weekends we will be offering lots of fun and sessions.

We will be running a course of 7 weeks on Thursday evenings in Ashton Court by the Rose Gardens near the Mansion House. Start at 6:45 and running until 8:15pm.

and relaxing practice in the park. You don't need to go to China to enjoy a Tai
Chi practise session in the open air.
Bring friends and family and meet Brandon Hill, Old Bowling Green, Bristol at 2.30pm on the 27 of June. Come early and bring some food and drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
This year we will feature the new demonstration team 2010. A very exciting and engaging demonstration of Tai Chi forms including drumming and Tai Chi Sword forms. Lasts about 20 minutes, followed by a taster classes and group practise. A great afternoon
